Rubber RampEnd™ Landings

RampEnd™ Landings

Access landings at the end of most modular ramps currently represent one of the largest access code violations in the modular building construction industry. When a new modular building is constructed, it is generally the landing that fails to meet State and Federal Code Standards. Concrete and asphalt rarely solves these problems due to improper grade levels and required maneuverable level surface areas.

SafePath™ Products now offers the only prefabricated level landing designed for the Modular Building industry. SafePath™ produces various models of RampEnd™ Landings designed for specific field conditions for almost any ramp in single or multiple building settings.

Attempting to solve this problem with concrete or asphalt is noisy, time consuming and expensive. RampEnd™ Landings are solid, durable and slip resistant. Installation is easy and can be accomplished in minutes, never requiring jack-hammering or concrete saw cutting.

RampEnd™ Landings are a "green" and sustainable product made from 100% recycled tires. They are made to resist the damaging effects of weather and heavy foot traffic. RampEnd™ Landings can be moved or transferred to another location unlike permanent alternatives such as concrete or asphalt.

Landing Access Points

  1. This area requires a maneuverable level clearance at the bottom of ramp transitions. Relocatable building codes require minimum clearance areas of 60" x 60" providing a level, safe and stable surface prior to accessing the ramp.
  2. Most modular building ramps are installed with a vertical rise of two or more inches at the end of the ramp. This requires modification by the owner to comply with model building access code laws.
  3. Code laws stipulate that handrails are required to be the full length of the ramp run, plus extensions. The extended handrail is required to be 12" beyond the ramp run and must be parallel to the landing surface.
